Pricing
DropScan Local uses Shopify Billing: a recurring monthly access charge plus tiered usage for packages picked up. There is no separate platform fee outside this schedule.

2. Usage pricing
Usage is based on packages picked up (first moved In transit) each calendar month. Failed deliveries still count once picked up. Each package maps to one Shopify fulfillment order. Canceling a fulfillment after delivery does not reverse that charge; if Shopify creates a new fulfillment order, it syncs as a new package and the next pickup is billable again.

3. Examples
- 50 packages: usage ≈ $14.00 + $19.00 access ≈ $33.00 that month (after trial).
- 300 packages: usage ≈ $70.50 + $19.00 access ≈ $89.50 that month (after trial).
Calculation for 300: (0.30 × 30) + (0.25 × 150) + (0.20 × 120) = $70.50 usage.
4. When charges post
- Merchants approve the Shopify subscription once from the app (Settings → Billing).
- Monthly access runs on Shopify’s recurring billing cycle after the trial.
- Usage for the prior calendar month is charged around the 1st via a Shopify usage record.
